CLASSIC KITCHEN

DESCRIPTION:

This kitchen appealed to me because of its ability to balance the open concept layout while maintaining a more traditional country-like design and feel.  I worked off of a reference image of an existing kitchen which was challenging since I had never seen it in person nor did I have any measurements.  This required me to learn a lot about standard cabinetry sizes and scaling objects off of those few known dimensions. 

I also loved the long wall of patio doors on the far wall, and the way the house seems to expand on either side of the kitchen.  This has always always drawn me in to visualize what the rest of the house and exterior landscaping could look like.  I'll likely revisit this house in the future and sketch out a floor plan and exterior render in order to fully explore that craving.
